The history and spirit of DAWS Wear

From press to garment

DAWS Wear was born in the heart of Granada, Spain, in early 2025, in the most honest place there is: the living room. This brand is the embodiment of a hobby and the vision of its founder, Daniel Olivares Dawson, a journalist by profession who has channeled his passion for graphic design into the world of textiles.

It all started with a creative coincidence. Daniel was playing around with his second surname, Dawson, which is of English origin, and from that exercise the current DAWS logo was born. Fascinated by the idea of ​​bringing his own designs and that logo to clothing, he decided to take the plunge.

The idea was simple: to offer t-shirts and sweatshirts with a different style and original designs, accessible to everyone.

The challenge and the birth

We were aware that launching into the textile market is a complex challenge. After researching the options for creating our own clothing line, we discovered the efficiency and sustainability of the print-on-demand production process.

We chose Printful because of its product quality and the excellent reviews from other creators. In a record time of just a month and a half, Daniel prepared the first designs, set up the store on the Shopify platform (chosen for its independent management and powerful tools), and thus, DAWS Wear was born and launched into the world.

DAWS Wear is a young brand, driven by enthusiasm and a minimal budget, but with a huge vision. We firmly believe in:

  • Design with soul: Our hallmark is the mind and hands of our creator. We don't follow the rules of fast fashion; we offer you different, original designs full of the personality of Daniel, a digital artisan.

  • Accessibility and Honesty: We want our own designer clothing to be easy to get. We use a made-to-order model to offer quality products without the excess inventory that harms the planet.

  • Made in Granada: We were born and raised in Granada. This background influences our vision, always seeking that blend of tradition, modernity, and unique style. And some of our garments reflect this.

The on-demand process: quality without excess

As a newly established brand, we have chosen a conscious and efficient path to offer you our products:

  • 100% Original Design: Each print is an original idea by Daniel, digitally rendered.

  • Smart Production: We work with Printful on an "on-demand" model. This means that the garment is only manufactured and printed when you order it.

  • Triple Benefit: This method minimizes stock waste, reduces environmental impact, and allows us to constantly launch new and different designs.
